The starting point for engagement with a client is a careful Risk Analysis Assessment. This exercise is used to allow STT Risk Management personnel to understand the hospitals objectives, operations and vulnerabilities.
The approach of STT Risk Management is centred on giving the Client the greatest chance of avoiding a risk in the first instance, and thereafter, managing the extent to which an actual event can affect the hospital attendees and hospital employees.
Security and the safety are totally dependent on people: their awareness, knowledge, disposition and skills. Through careful training, clients’ management teams and staff are helped to become more security aware and so less vulnerable to risk.
An initial assessment can be carried out on the basis of a rudimentary one day ‘walk through', following which a client may choose to have STT Risk Management undertake an in-depth hospital-wide survey, security audit and analysis.
